  Our Yoga Philosophy

It is our philosophy that by keeping our class sizes small, you will get the maximum, healthful benefits of yoga that you desire and deserve.

This allows our expert instructors to give you exceptional, personal attention, focusing on individual needs and goals.

  What is yoga?

Yoga is a program of physical postures designed to purify the body and provide the physical strength and stamina required for long periods of meditation.

The postures are designed to align your skin, muscles, and bones and to open the many channels of the body–especially the main channel, the spine–so that energy can flow freely.

Yoga is unique because we connect the movement of the body and the thoughts in the mind to the rhythm of our breath.

How should I prepare for class?

Wear a pair of sweat pants, leggings, or shorts, and a t-shirt. You will be practicing yoga barefoot.

Don’t eat for two or three hours before class.

Do let your teacher know about injuries or conditions that might affect your practice.

How many times a week can I practice yoga?

Yoga is so amazing that even if you only practice for one hour a week, you will experience the benefits of the practice.

If you can do more than that, you will certainly experience more benefits.

We suggest starting with two or three classes a week. Your desire to practice will expand naturally and you will find yourself doing more and more, experiencing a powerful feeling of wellness.

Do I need to be flexible before I begin yoga?

Many people think that they need to be flexible to begin yoga, but that is not correct.

Come as you are and you will find that yoga practice will help you become more flexible, agile, and coordinated, gaining physical strength and personal confidence.

REZA is the perfect home for the beginner or advanced alike.

As always, REZA will provide amenities such as mats, blankets, blocks, straps and sandbags, water and towels free of charge.
